2024 Season Plan



College - Thursdays (Division 2)

 MGC 2nd XI,  Kaikoura HS, MBC Wairau, MBC Waihopai

  • 2 rounds, semi final and finals.
  • Game times 3.45 and 4.45
  • 25 min halves
  • First game Thursday 2nd May 2024
  • No Hockey - 11th & 18th July (School Holidays)
  • Thursday 15th August – Finals night, with Prize-giving to follow. 


Division 1 - Friday Evenings (6pm-9pm) - Based on 6 teams mix of college and club

Beawai Women, Beawai Masters, MGC 1st XI, Arotea Kiwi Women, Awatere, MBC 2nd XI 

  • First Game Friday 3rd May 2024
  • No Hockey – 12th & 19th July (School Holidays)
  • 17th  August – Finals Day, with Prize-giving to follow


Premier Grade – Thursday Night (7.30pm)

Pope/Gladstone  - Fri 27th July - Sun 29th July, Blenheim (100 years celebration, function on Saturday night)

Maadi Cup - 19th - 21st July, Blenheim

FINALS and PRIZEGIVING day - Saturday 17th August

Secondary Schools Tournaments - 2nd - 6th September. 

Girls - 1st XI Federation Cup, Hamilton

Boys - 1st XI Johnson Cup, Nelson

Boys - 2nd XI Galletly Cup, Cromwell

Girls - 2nd XI Chris Arthur Cup, Dunedin
